Hey there !! My name is Delina (like Selina but with a D) and I’m a 21 y/o female who is currently attending college at IVC as a biomedical engineer major ! :)) I also minor in music and I can play the piano and cello. I’m not going to school full time and I always take classes at night so that I could work in the day. I love kiddos and understand how to properly deal with them and take pride in the fact that I once Interned at CHOC under a Pediatric Cardiovascular surgeon so I have a deep knowledge of what it means to nurture and care for children. I used to babysit a lot for my family all throughout my teen years and it taught me a lot about them and myself. It was tough at first but I’m grateful I learned these valuable skills early on and plan on using what I learned on my future children one day. In terms of my current job, I work at a dentist office part time as a receptionist and occasional assistant. It’s located in Lake forest on Rockfield Blvd. Unfortunately, I just got laid off because of the virus and I want to get back to the usual grind I was used to and keep myself busy in these tough times. I also can’t imagine myself being in my house for weeks on end doing nonsensical things. Reading and playing the piano just isn’t cutting it anymore ! Lol!
