I will be graduating from Biola University this May with a degree in Liberal Studies, Elementary & Secondary Education. Through this degree, I have spent many hours per semester working in classrooms of all ages. I love working with kids! For a couple of summers during college, I worked as a nanny. In the summer of 2011, I nannied 4 siblings, and occasionally a 5th friend of theirs. I spent all morning and afternoon there, driving them to swimming lessons, taking them to the park and library, and staying at home to play with them and perform various housekeeping tasks. The children were 9, 8, 7, 4, and 2 years old. In the summer of 2012, I nannied 4 siblings of a different family. We spent our days at the zoo, aquarium, water park, or hanging out at home or the pool. They were very active and we did a Read more lot of activities. The children were 12, 10, and twins age 8. Currently I work as a high school coordinator in the high school youth group at my church. this involves office work and meetings, along with getting together with students on a regular basis, outside of meeting twice per week for church. I lead a small group of 10th-11th grade girls. Working with kids is something I am passionate about, and something I plan to make into a career as a teacher. My degree is for ages kindergarten through twelfth grade, so I am comfortable and love all age ranges. I will take care of your children well!
