I enjoy working on arts and crafts projects with children, as it encourages them to be creative and express themselves in new ways. I also think that time spent outside is very important for a child's physical and emotional development. I do not use the television as a means of distracting children or as a substitute for proper care; rather, reading, singing songs, building forts, putting on plays, etc. are all wonderful activities that children enjoy. Children should be listened to, loved, and their self-esteem bolstered. When interacting with children, a sense of humor is a necessity. I am looking forward to working with a great family!
