I am a mom to a 14 yr old boy. I previously ran an in-home-summer day care for over 5 yrs. I cared for more than 10 children at a time. I was the neighborhood mom that took the kids everywhere. The beach, amusements parks, fun activities, and provided a fun summer for the kids that they wouldn't have experienced one if they were stuck in a regular daycare. Plus, their parents always knew their kids were safe with me. They were still required some education time, but they knew if they complied fun would follow. I basically helped raise them. They were my kids too. Most of them are in High School or have graduated. I am a former Marine, so I am very protective and expect respect and honesty from my kids. I am loyal and honest. I believe in treating people as they would want to be Read more treated and I instill that in the kids I care for. I have extensive first aid and CPR training, but my certs are not up to date. If you require that I will get them immediately. Currently, I help my friends with their children. An 18 mo and a 5 yr old. I am very patient and caring.
