Meet Annika

  • Speaks English and Swedish
  • Comfortable with pets

From a young age I have found my passion in youth education and care-taking. On a local level, I stayed involved with my Girl Scout council by serving as a camp counselor for many years. During my time as a counselor I gained practical experience working with youths aged 6 to 13. Furthermore, for over 8 years I have been a babysitter for numerous families. I pride myself on being able to adapt to the needs of each child as well as each family to ensure that everyone’s needs are being met. I find that I can engage my own creativity when creating games and activities to keep the children engaged and curious! In December of 2018 I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Through this program, I’ve gained the skills necessary to creative an inclusive and welcoming environment for youth of all backgrounds.
