Seeking: Functional Family live in situation to assist with light child care with no heavy lifting and a focus on academic education/homework help. I specialize in positive discipline and learning disabilities w/out physical intervention. I am a well recommended (John Hopkins University observed in my classroom several times and the book resulting from observations in my room and school as well as other schools was, "Effective Schools that Change"). My situation: I recently relocated to Northern California after an injury while employed at a well known Southern California district. I was, prior, an athlete living in my off-grid home outside of Joshua Tree, Ca. I am awaiting settlement and am seeking an area which has access to medical care (I do not take pharmaceuticals and am seeking access to alternative medical care which was limited in the desert). I have a house sitter currently staying at my home. I relocate Read more with my 2 spayed girls, Grace, a mini-doxie, and Sadie, a golden mix. Both are sweet ladies, friendly, well behaved, and enjoy family settings. I am not haphazard. I had other arrangements planned only to find it was a non-drug free setting. I am a social/occasional drinker/ non-drinker light smoker- who plans on quitting. Smoking would not occur during work or around children's observation. I am looking for an immediate position with a family which allows me to share my skills in teaching while providing my independent access to available medical facilities outside of my needed work hours. I can provide part time assistance before and after school with no lifting. I am looking forward to assisting you with your family's academic needs.
