Being the oldest of six siblings you learn a lot about babies, toddlers, and children. You learn what makes them cry, laugh, and how to deal with different situations. I'm twenty-two and have three younger brothers and two younger sisters; big family. I've learned so much from helping my parents raise them. I remember while being in middle school I said I would never have kids. Now that I've experienced babies, toddlers, and children and have seen all my siblings grow and prosper, I know that this, children, brings me great joy. I love spending time with children, getting to know them, hearing all their crazy stories, I love it. While in high school I also took a child developmental class for 6 months. We were assigned a grade and a couple of kids to handle for the duration we were there. I was in charge of six first graders Read more and our tasks for each day were different, arts and crafts, math skills, writing and reading, and sometimes team building on the playground. I'm in school right now working towards my bachelors in human development to become a teacher. Until then, I'd love to be babysitting and creating relationships with children to make a positive impact on a child's life.

Hired Sonya to watch the boys for a dinner date. Sonya showed up on time, and reassured us that everything was going to be fine. The boys had a blast, when we got back they were all doing a puzzle and the boys were sad to see her leave! Great experience. At our first meeting Sonya told us all about herself which helped in our decision to move forward with her. Thanks again Sonya!

Recently used Sonya as a babysitter for a date night with my husband. Sonya is a great find! She arrived on time (actually a little early! ). Has a great personality and established rapport with my kids (boys ages 1, 3) right away. And she even left the house cleaner and more organized than when she arrived! My 3-yr old said he had a great time playing with Sonya and liked her a lot :) I will totally use her again and recommend her to all my friends!
