Hi there! My name is Amanda. I'm 32 year old writer with extensive background in childcare. When I first moved to Los Angeles I worked as a nanny for a family with two young boys for 2 years. While it's been a while since I've babysat, I miss taking care of kids and am hoping to add some occasional weekend / weeknight babysitting to my schedule. As for additional past experience, I ran a theatre camp for three years for children 4-12. At camp, myself and two other counselors worked with a group of 25 kids to assemble a performance at the end of two weeks. We worked with the kids for eight hours every day, teaching dances, playing games, writing short plays, and a variety of other activities. I loved watching the passion for the arts grow within the kids! I also have vast experience babysitting, and have been Read more watching children since I was 12 years old. These children range from newborns to young adolescents, and I have watched up to four children at once. Some of my responsibilities included driving children to their activities, providing and cooking meals, diaper changes, various playtime activities, bedtime and bathtime, doing laundry, and creating fun activities. (Putting on plays, imagination school, teaching easy/safe recipes, outdoor games)
