I have previously worked as a babysitter taking care of children from newborns to pre-teens, but mostly children under 5 years of age. I am wonderful with infants and toddlers. I love children & really look forward to every babysitting job I go on. I am a hard worker, punctual and reliable. Recent Job History: Nanny to a wonderful 2 1/2 year old little girl. I started with the family when she was 9 months old. I worked for them on a regular basis 4 times a week for 5 hours a day, and loved every minute of it. Up until a few months ago when she started preschool. I still sit for them about once a week. I worked with a lovely family who when I started sitting for them had a newborn and a 2-year-old. I watched them on a regular basis for three years until recently when Read more the mother had another child and decided she needed a live-in. Recently I was a sitter for a 3 1/2 month old baby girl. The mom hired me for about 4 weeks to watch her daughter while she was preparing to move to Northern California. I watched her daughter 4-8 hours daily, handled all infant responsibilities. I babysit two young children (brother/sister) on a on-call basis. I usually watch them 2-4 times per week depending on my schedule. The youngest is an adorable 13 month old girl and her older brother who just turned 3! My responsibilities for them: meal time, nap time/bed time, bath time for both of them, diaper changing of the baby, help potty train the little boy, follow the schedule the mom has for them (naps, meals, etc), and of course playtime! I always try to plan a fun activity for us to do. Also I love taking them to the park! Since I can remember I have been babysitting due to a big family and neighbors. Worked at the private school, John Thomas Dye (Bel Air) helping in the kindergarten class as well as babysitting many of those children and their siblings.With a history in theatre, I am creative and imaginative, which is great when it comes to working with children. I'm a very active nanny and love to take the little ones in my care out on daily adventures, and teach them new things. Always thinking of new ways to stimulate their minds, no matter how young. I think music, arts and crafts, and fresh air is key for children of all ages.I'm very organized, great with schedules and think that consistency is key for a child's development.
