Hello, I am a 33 year old woman with various nanny and babysitting experience. I’m looking for summer hours, as my current nanny jobs will both be coming to an end this month (June 2018). One family is moving out of state, and the other is having a second baby and the parents will be taking time off work. I’m pregnant with my first bebe and due in late September, so I’m looking for a temporary/summer position. I've been a full-time nanny for babies and children between the ages of 5 months and five years old. I have plenty of experience with babies age 3 months and up, and kids of all ages. I graduated from Lewis and Clark law school in 2014, but I've been babysitting since I was 12 and didn't want to stop! I love the slower pace and less stress of spending quality time with kids. Read more I charge $15-20 an hour. Things I like doing with kids are reading, listening to music/playing music, dancing, drawing, coloring, & arts and crafts, going to the park, petting neighborhood dogs and cats, playing house, tea parties & imaginary games, kicking and throwing balls, and going for trike/bike rides. I'm also happy to visit OMSI, a pool, or an ice rink! I do my best to pay attention to kids' energy and balance active, enthusiastic time and calm, restful time. I'm happy to avoid the tv, if the parents agree. I can drive and have a car (although I often ride my bike if possible). I look forward to hearing from you!

Lindsay has been baby sitting my two boys for over a year, we have a soon to be 2 and 4 yo. My kids have developed a sweet friendship with her, looking forward to her visits, asking about her often and recounting stories from their adventures even if they happened weeks before. Lindsay brings books and special trinkets with her, she has a peaceful playful wanderous personality that kids are very drawn to. She can be firm and gentle at the same time, she is confident and lovingly throughout. Lindsay has taken my kids to OMSI with ease and excitement, she has done bed time routine with them countless of times, even when the little one was SO hard to put down she remained sweet and very communicative with us... she certainly has our full trust and affection. One more thing about her- I constantly learn form Lindsay AND I am able to have intellectual exchanges about kids and social justice and other things dear to my heart. She is the BEST
