I grew up the eldest of six children because of my experience as a mother's helper in my own home, it made it very easy for me to pickup babysitting jobs in high school. Eventually, in college, those relationships strengthened and as the children grew I found myself taking care of them during the summer, toting them to swim classes, watching them at the pool, cheering them on in soccer, gently placing band-aids on scraped knees and justifying why nothing will ever get them at night after finishing a story. I have also worked as a tutor in most subjects and many of my former clients are college grads who continue to keep in contact with me--asking for advice--and keeping me abreast of their triumphs.
