I am an Australian playwright and filmmaker who lives in Beachwood/Hollywood area. I have a reliable car and a clean criminal and driving record. I have a greencard and am very flexible. I have been called the baby whisperer because I am so great with kids! I am fun and attentive, responsible and dedicated. I have a lot of creative energy and a young heart so children of all ages are comfortable with me. I used to teach drama and creative writing to young children in Sydney. To supplement my income as an artist, babysitting is the most enjoyable and fulfilling experience for me. I love children. I have as yet none of my own, but at 33 I have had a ton of experience looking after my friends' and family's children. I am looking for part-time or casual local work.

Sarah came across as available and willing to be part of our family as a new nanny. Our son is 2 and we did not know her at all. We let her into our home and be part of our family, aside from complaints from my nieces who she cared for one time (who are 8 and 12) about her rudeness to them I continued to use her. I am a parent that sees the care of my child extremely important at this developmental age and had to explain to her his need to have diapers changed regularly (as I often would come back to a diaper unchanged for over 3 hours or old soiled diaper she had not noticed) I asked small things around the house in regards to how much tv he watched, where he ate food etc and somehow my parental needs from her were too much., My son told me she was pushing him high on the swing for big kids and she even once told me he fell off> Then she proceed to tell me that I am critical of her in my asking her to change diapers, not let him watch hours of tv and not to push him on the big swings. She complained she didn't like our nanny cameras as well. I will refrain on my opinion of her personally but overall would not hire her for a small child or if you are a parent that has nanny camera or want someone that has basic work ethic on how to tiddy up or be asked to care for your child in the way you as a parent see is needed. She is more committed to trying to be a writer in Hollywood than being a caretaker>

This was the first time we used a baby sitter that we had not met in person before or that wasn't a referral from a friend. So, we were really apprehensive of the entire situation/process. But we needed someone in a pinch and, let me tell you...Sarah is pretty awesome. She was great with our toddler (2yr9mo boy). When I left and when I got home, I could tell he was having a ball with her. She got so much of his energy out that I was able to take him to a nice dinner with friends and he behaved like a chill mini-adult. It was great to see this side of our tot. Outside of how great she was with our son, she seems like just a great person. We're looking forward to her spending more time with our little one.
