I am 51 year old nanny with over 20 years of nannying and teaching experience. Raising children is my true calling, I became a teacher at 20 then retired at 24 when I and my husband decided to have a second child. While raising my kids I had raised many children that I nannied out of my house, mostly children of my very close friends. I wanted to make sure that my girls were social and loved being around their peers, and in my opinion there is no such thing as too many kids to look after, the more the merrier : ). When my oldest daughter left home to move to the US, I knew that my younger one will follow her steps. I raised my daughters to be kind, strong, independent and free and they left home a bit too soon, well even if they left at 40 Read more it would be too soon as well : ). I returned back to my teaching career at 35 and taught elementary and middle school during the day and looked after little ones in evening. Upon immigrating to the US from Russia myself to follow my daughters, I became a full time nanny. I had a pleasure of working for a lovely family with 2 twin toddlers a boy and a girl for the past 6 months while their permanent nanny was taking care of her ill husband. Maia, the mother is an absolutely wonderful woman and will be more than happy to provide any references when needed.
