My name is Ariel. I am a 30 year old, psychology major, and have been babysitting and nannying since 2005. I am trained in CPR and First Aid, and I neither smoke nor drink alcohol. I grew up in the theatre, and have an extensive background in both classical theatre and improvisation, which I feel equips me with myriad tools in my child-care arsenal! :) I am an avid adorer of small fries. They make my eyes light up and my heart expand. I find tending to bambinos extremely rewarding and endlessly gratifying. Their ever-open eyes and perpetually inquisitive nature keep my spirit light and my soul grounded. Read more I am punctual, reliable, and enthusiastic about any and all of their needs and wants. I supremely delight in playing classical music over the sound system, breaking out the instruments or even pots and pans to facilitate an interactive connection to such stimuli... I can teach your little one how to make preserves, how to brew kombucha, or how to pickle any number of veggies. I like to expose my charges to real live adult museums in addition to those geared towards children, as I believe it's never too early to introduce them to the beauty of art and history. I enjoy playing games, playing pretend, reading books or poetry to them, writing short stories and poetry with them, teaching them to paint, swim, make collages, garden, practice yoga, or make jewelry, interpretive dancing, exploring nature, baking cookies, building forts... These are but a few of my specialties! Let us play!
