Have a Bachelors in Clinical Dietetics with 20 years of practice including infant and child nutrition. My Masters is in special education and I have 3 years of teaching experience in addition to tutoring freshman algebra as a sophomore in college. Worked as a teacher and care giver for 2 year olds in my first year and 3 to 5 year olds in my 2nd year at KinderCare Learning Center in Glastonbury, CT. Read more I also have a 2 year degree in dramatic arts and am very good at both art, crafts and math. I love to sew and cook and am an excellent costume maker and healthy meal whipper-upper. I love children and animals and they love me. I believe in the value of play, think learning should be fun and am a strong proponent of positive reinforcement/operant conditioning/REI chil care methods.

Report

Trustline is California's official background check for license-exempt child care providers (i.e. babysitters and nannies) and the only authorized screening program in California with access to fingerprint records at the California Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation and access to the California Child Abuse Central Index. The Trustline registry toll-free telephone number is 1-800-822-8490.

Pursuant to Section 1596.859 of the Health and Safety Code, parents have the right to receive information regarding any substantiated or inconclusive complaint about licensed child care providers. That information is public and can be acquired by visiting the California Department of Social Services' Internet Web site at "www.cdss.ca.gov".
