I am searching for a position in which i can use my strong passion for children/families and expertise in early childhood development to promote and support children’s physical, emotional, and mental well being. I posses extensive experience as a child caregiver for families in the Los angeles area as well as summer camp and elementary school settings. Born third into a family of six children you can imagine how babysitting started at an earlier age then most for me. Helping my mother watch and take care of my younger siblings around the age of 11 years old. It wasn’t until me and my older sister decided to start a babysitting club in our childhood neighborhood that i recognized my love for children extending outside of my biological family. With the help of my mother i went on to work at summer camps, after school programs, and tutor as a teenager and Read more have been working with children ever since. The role of part-time nanny somewhat found me as i developed strong rapport with severals parents i encountered during these job roles. What started off as baby sitting after school and during holidays and weekends turned into an opportunity to work more closely with children and families on a more one on one basis. Over the past few years I’ve transitioned from part-time to full- time career nanny and i couldn’t be happier with the path I’ve chosen but also seems to have chosen me. I consider myself to be a professional educated nanny with more than 6 years experience in various intensive childcare positions. I posses expertise in nurturing, guiding, teaching, disciplining, and providing loving care to children of all ages. I excel at remaining calm and composed in challenging situations while demonstrating superb active listening, organization, and communication skills. Additionally i have complementary experience providing over reaching support with various household responsibilities including cooking, cleaning, and running errands. I view the childcare and nanny profession to be exciting, challenging, and most of all rewarding in so many ways because of the chance it gives me the make a difference not only in a childs life but in the world right in the comfort and safe space of their homes. I am eager to accept a new opportunity and make a positive difference in your clients lives.
