I've worked with children for over 10 years as a part-time babysitter as well as a Special Education Para-educator (Los Angeles Unified School District) helping students that have special needs. Some of my responsibilities include, but are not limited to supervision of children, behavior management, preparing meals, toileting, light cleaning, tutoring, helping with homework and promoting language and writing skills in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. I never expected to do this line of work; it just happened so by accident and I don't regret it all. I've learned so much, met amazing individuals and it's been an awesome ride. I'm passionate about what I do and I believe in this career you have to be able to show empathy, patience and love kids and I've been fortunate to have had so many great experiences. I love to travel, learning about and experiencing different cultures and helping people.
