Meet Christina

  • Comfortable with pets

My name is Christina and I am a caring, engaging, & extremely responsible person who is looking to nanny for a wonderful family.  I have nearly 10 years experience nannying, with my most recent experience working for a family for 3 years with 3 children aged 7, 5 & 3. Throughout my years of experience, my daily duties have included meal preparation, grocery shopping, baths, nap/bedtime/ routines, potty training, school drop-off/pick-up, homework help, driving to extracurricular activities, dog-walking, light & heavy housework such as laundry, dishes and all around keeping a clean and organized house. I always strive to create a positive, safe, & creative environment at all times, with favorite activities including walks to nearby parks & libraries for story time, lots of reading, singing songs, driving to museums, zoos, aquariums as well as interactive learning activities and creative and fun art projects! As a college graduate with a Read more Bachelor's of Fine Art, I encourage both creative and learning-based activities where we can have fun and be silly while learning at the same time. In the past, I spent summers volunteering at UCLA's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit where I cared for premature & sick newborns which was an experience I will always remember. I have acquired credits in ECE which I continue to work towards because of my long-term goals of eventually opening up my own daycare. As a nanny, I give 100% to my job as a caretaker and understand the importance of having the parents feel comfortable and trusting in my abilities. In the past, I have established good rapport with the children’s parents which often led to increased daily hours, and was even asked to house-sit/pet-sit when the family was out of town. I look forward to speaking with you, thanks for your time! Christina
