After recently earning my Master's degree, I am seeking part-time to full time babysitting/nannying work. I moved to Los Angeles a little over two years ago and was previously employed in Chicago as a full-time Nanny (50 hours/week) for two infants. I had the wonderful experience of watching them grow and develop into walking, talking, toddlers and I still keep up with them today via the wonders of skype and iPhone videos. I love working with children of all ages. Before the infants I mentioned above, I was working with 2 families (ages 8, 8, 6, 3 & 3) until the end of June 09, when they moved. I'd been with them for a year and a half but I have been nannying and babysitting for at least twelve years now for children as young as 3 months to fourteen years old. I'm energetic, responsible, and creative while trying to Read more remain consistent with your disciplinarian policies and rules. I have my own transportation and am a non-smoker. I am CPR trained and have a background check. I was also a hotel babysitter with American Childcare in Chicago and passed their extensive screening and drug test as well. I am also very comfortable and experienced with a 'Nanny-Share'. Essentially, a nanny share is when two families with similar schedules and needs combine forces and just have one nanny (works best if you live in the same neighborhood). I have done this for the past five years and have found it is beneficial to everyone involved.

I interviewed Vanessa for a part-time nanny position and she immediately clicked with my daughter. Kate felt comfortable enough to share her blankee with Vanessa, which is pretty amazing! Although we ended up hiring a friend-of-a-friend for the job, I wanted to let you know that Vanessa's a great candidate. We wouldn't hesitate to use her for night/evening sitting jobs. She's great!
