Hello my name is Joanne, I am a mother of one son who is in his junior year in college. I am 55 and semi-retired looking for part-time work caring for children 3 years and older. I have babysat for many children throughout my lifetime. I was born and raised in Walnut Creek. I grew up swimming, horseback riding, bicycle riding and doing many active outdoor activities. I also speak only English and am new to sittercity so I do not have any references or comments. My last client had three children who ended up moving out of state. I can give you her name and phone number if needed. I am from a family of 10 with 20 nieces and nephews and 12 grand nieces and nephews makes me well adjusted. I worked at the elementary school in WC while my son attended kindergarten up until fourth grade in which after I started my own dog grooming business now retired from. I love children and spending time playing, doing activities, reading, walking them to the park or driving to activities and involving them in social events. Also making them healthy snacks as I am conscientious of my own health. I do not smoke and enjoy taking my dog for walks around my neighborhood and to the park and open space.
