I'm an experienced Elementary School Teacher with a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Elementary School Education, Fine Arts and Art Education. I have 3 years of work experience at a middle school in Paris, France (German language teacher) and elementary schools in Berlin, Germany (2nd Head Teacher, Substitute, Special Ed Teacher). I'm also a certified and experienced Kids Yoga Instructor. I started working with children in 2006 when I lived in France as an Au-Pair and took care of a 6 year old in a private home. I continued working as a babysitter and nanny for an agency that would send us to help working parents in need when their children were sick. I took care of children that didn't know me before and it always went well. From 2010-2012 I worked as a nanny for a newborn boy and a 2 year old girl. I did everything from picking Read more them up from early daycare, playing, crafting, changing diapers and other care, preparing meals, grocery shopping, light household work, bathing, bringing to bed, etc. I became part of the family and helped them out on and off over the last years. From 2014-2017 I also worked as a caretaker for adults and children with severe mental and physical disabilities. I've been employed at a psychiatric nursery home and worked with people with aggressive behavioral disorders. I took care of people with autism, down-syndrom, tetraplegia, seizures and other syndroms and impairments on organized travels or short-term care at home. I organized a journey and several events with over 15 participants with various disabilities and overlooked the work of 10 caretakers. It's my passion to provide the best care for every person that I work with. I believe that the quality and warmth in the work I do is essential and one of my most important virtues.
