I have worked with children for 11 years, in various capacities. At age 12, I babysat for 3 families as an after school job throughout middle school and high school. Alongside these jobs, I worked two summers (one in high school and the other in college) as a teacher’s aide at my church's pre-school working with children from 1-5 years of age. I was responsible for preparing and teaching lesson plans, changing diapers, preparing snacks and lunches, supervising child safety in the play areas, and keeping the classrooms tidy and organized. I studied abroad for a semester in 2011 in Italy and volunteered one day a week at an Italian pre-school with children ages 3-4. I helped teach English and aided the teachers in various duties. In 2012 I began working for College Nannies and Tutors in Tucson, AZ. I worked with a family for 8 months with 2 girls Read more ages 8 and 12. I was responsible for picking them up from school, driving them to their extra-curricular activities, assisting with homework, and preparing snacks and dinners. I later worked with a family of 5 children, ages 3-12 for 4 months. My duties included picking them up from school, getting them ready for swimming and tennis lessons, taking them to practice, and assisting with homework while the mom prepared dinner. For the past 2 years, I have nannied for two families, one with 16 month old twins, full time, and part-time for a family with 3 boys (9,7,&5). I highly enjoy working with children and comfortable working with all ages. I believe caregiving is a fun and rewarding job. I swam competitively for 8 years so I have excellent swimming skills and I am CPR/First Aid certified. I don’t mind helping around the house or running errands. I am an animal lover.
