I am Melissa DiGiorno. I have been a preschool teacher for the last seven years at Orangeburg Christian School. I received twenty-two units in Early Childhood Education. Three of the units were specialized in infant and toddlers. At the school that I taught at, I have worked with ages two through thirteen. I started off as a volunteer and was hired to help in afternoon daycare where I helped with the preschool through junior high age students. During this time, I was also taking the units in Early Childhood. Once I earned enough units, I was hired to assistant teach for the three years class during the morning period and continuing as a daycare worker in the afternoon. Once I finished my infant and toddler units, I took over as head teacher in the two year old class. I've been there for the last four years. As I move to Read more Redding, I find myself wanting to focus on one family and their needs instead of continuing teaching. I love children and their parents. I always have fun and exciting activities planned and love to get the children to learn new things. Since I am a current teacher, I am fingerprinted, had a background checked,and CPR certified.
