Cecilia was absolutely terrific with our child. She was exactly what you'd expect from a retired teacher / grandma / professional nanny. She's like the Mary Poppins of California!

Cecilia was so warm and caring to our nine-month-old as a nanny for her when she had to stay home from day care. The baby loved her immediately. Cecilia helped her recover from an illness and gave her lots of TLC, songs, storytime, and playtime. She did a great job with feeding/diapering and was great about providing updates throughout the day. I would happily have Cecilia nanny/babysit again in a heartbeat. We missed her when our time with her was over, and so did the baby!

Cecilia was amazing with our 4m baby boy. I was a bit nervous to leave my baby to a stranger but, as soon as she arrives she took the baby, sang to him, changed his diaper like she knew him since birth. She was so warm and caring that I trusted almost right away. During the night, she sent very cute picture of him which was really neat. I felt relaxed and enjoyed my first date night with my husband thanks to her!

Cecilia babysit our 4-month old twins for a week recently and we (and our babies) just loved her. She clearly loves and respects children and has a warmth and calmness that our babies really responded to. She sent me pictures of the twins during the day, which I really appreciated, and was responsive to our needs with the them in terms of feeding, sleeping, playtime, and going outdoors. Cecilia took wonderful care of our babies and we were so happy to have her in our home caring for our children.

Cecilia came out to provide sick care to our 3 year old and it was pretty clear they both had a great time! She texted us pictures a couple times throughout the day of what they were doing and was very on top of instructions and communications. She is a professional with a grad degree, so she may be overqualified for basic babysitting jobs, but with her you get an energetic and trustworthy grandma with lots of education, experience, and a genuine love for children. It's your child and don't they deserve the best?

Ms Ceclia is an enthusiastic and kind caretaker of our children for three workdays. She kept us up on how things were going with text messages and photos of what they were up to through the day. She found things to do to keep our toddler and 10 month old entertained and happy while we were at our business meeting.

My husband and I have meetings every city in US, dragging our babies (10 months, and 3 yr old) and hiring a babysitter at each city, they stay in the hotel room together all day while we work. Leaving our kids to total stranger who we just find through this website is a hard thing to do for us. Requiring a lot of trust when we ask the person to take kids even just for a walk outside the hotel. Ms. Cecilia is by far the best babysitter comparing to any other in the past. Kids love her, and parents too. We particularly appreciate her day-end detailed report on how kids spent the day. We were so happy to have Ms. Cecilia knowing our kids were in very good hands.

Cecilia was very warm and professional. We were from out of town and requested that she come to sit with our baby in our hotel room in Venice. She came right on time, early enough to get to know us and allow us to leave at the designated time actually. she maintained contact throughout the night with texts and pictures of our baby. She definitely seemed to know what she was doing and put us at ease, a very difficult thing to do leaving a baby with someone in a big city.

My husband and I were in a scramble trying to find a last minute sitter - Cecilia's profile really drew me. I emailed her and she responded so quickly and was incredibly calm and kind on the phone. I was just about to hire her when my husband let me know he'd found someone. She was gracious and polite about it and for that I give her five stars. I look forward to hiring her in the future.

Cecilia was great. We were in a tough place to get to and park in, and she made it happen. We were hiring her after a long car trip from San Francisco on 2 days notice. It was difficult to get all the details together, so her organization and easy going, flexible attitude made everything seem simple. Both baby and dog were calm and happy when we got back. As an educator by trade, she is smart and intuitive when it comes to babies and dogs. Parent outing was a success by all measures.

Cecilia was on time, excellent with all the detailed info we gave her for our baby, and really great with our boy, and our pets!

We've been using Cecilia for our toddler for about a year. She is has a very cheerful personality and loves to read to our son.
