Hello my name is Jennifer, and I have many years working with children from infant to school age. My experience comes from babysitting when I was younger, and volunteering at Church. I enjoy babysitting and giving the parents some adult time, which in this world right know is so needed. I enjoy playing games, reading and playing outside. I also like to do art and crafts with children in the evening time so they are not sitting in front of the tv the entire time. There are some exceptions if the child(ren) are not feeling well. In the past when I have babysat I have asked the children what they would like to do, and one time we made a fort with blankets, and chairs. The children were so excited and had a great time. I also know that children like to draw and color and be creative. I also Read more have noticed they like to bake, cupcakes, or Rice Krispie treats etc. I really enjoy babysitting and getting to know children and their likes and dislikes. Children these days are so very smart and they impress me with how much they know. I don’t mind giving them dinner, and making sure they take a shower or bath. I will help the smaller children of course. I make sure they brush their teeth and use the bathroom one last time before they go to bed. Once the children are in bed I will head back into the kitchen and clean up and make sure everything is put away and organized. I do check on the children often to make sure they are ok. Babysitting is just a fun experience getting to know different children and families.
