I grew up babysitting children of family friends and neighbors. One of my first jobs was at a sports camp and I loved it. Helping people experience new skills and interests has motivated me to work with children throughout my life. Recently, I returned to the US from a year spent teaching ESL in a rural NE Thai secondary school. There I further developed techniques to motivate and encourage children's confidences and competencies. I learned that native Thai people love testing non-native chili tolerance and monsoon season is pretty amazing. Currently I work for an outdoor education/adventure camp (Avid4 Adventure) as a rock climbing and mountain bike instructor. In my spare time I enjoy rock climbing, touring on my bicycle, being with friends, cooking, reading, and learning new skills. I have a current FBI background check and will provide upon request. Additionally, my main mode of transportation is a motorcycle.
