Hi! My name is Samantha. I hope to be the nanny your family is searching for! I have 4 years of professional experience as well as 7 years of non-professional, firsthand experience with my own son. I have attended two years of school at Palomar College in San Marcos, including child development classes. If you would like to know details about my previous jobs, please feel free to keep reading. :-) My first job lasted two and a half years. I watched 3 children, ages 3, 9, and 14. I was responsible for bringing them to and from school, dropping them off at swim practice, helping with homework, running errands, cooking, light cleaning, grocery shopping, dog walking, and other miscellaneous tasks. My hours were M-Th from 6am-7pm. My second job lasted for 6 months. I was responsible for the part-time care of an 18-month-old on Tues & Thurs from 7am-4pm. Read more I prepared breakfast, lunch, sometimes dinner, did laundry, sanitized cloth diapers during nap time, tidied baby's room, took him to the park and on walks in the stroller, played, read books, and did cool arts and crafts projects! My third job (which just ended in January) lasted for one year. I was responsible for the care of an 18-month-old M-F from 8am-5pm. (When I started, he was 6-months-old.) I prepared his breakfast, snacks, and lunch, put him down for nap, took him on walks, played, read books, and sang songs. I also taught him baby sign language over the year I was with him! During his nap time I did dishes and light housekeeping such as sweeping and folding laundry. I feel so very lucky to have been able to be a part of each family's life! It is so much fun being a nanny and a mom. :-) Anyway, I look forward to talking with you to see if I am the right choice for your family!
