Meet Madeline

As an older sister and educator, my life has always revolved around children. From an early age, I felt a sense of duty as a big sister. It was my mission in life - and still is - to be the best big sister, friend and role model to my little brother Jack. As we grew older I became a big sister to not only him, but his friends and the neighborhood children around me. This is when I began my babysitting career. In my Undergrad, I majored in Fine Arts with an emphasis in Critical Theory. This major catered to my creative side, and allowed me to develop critical professional skills that I use today. It was in Graduate School that I realized my path was in Education. Since CSU Fullerton, I have been a long time substitute teacher in two school districts. Instead of going to a new Read more classroom everyday, I find myself circulating between five separate classrooms everyday. These teachers ask me to come back time and time again because I created a special relationship with their students; they trust me, they have fun with me, and they continue to stay on task. I am proud to be an educator who knows the fine line between friend and teacher. And also a babysitter who takes those same values into every job I accept. I can promise you a sense of relief knowing that your children are safe, happy and taken care of.
