Growing up with a little sister taught me to care for those younger than myself at the age of three. Other than my baby sister I began baby-sitting at the age of thirteen. I baby-sat for family in my area and was baby-sitting during the summers full-time by the age of fifteen. My volunteer experience includes a program designed to encourage young children to build relationships with other generations as well as raise awareness of/eradicate bullying. I was involved in this program for four years. I was also part of another program designed to teach young children the fundamentals of basketball as well as to encourage them to stay active during their free time.
