My name is Heuhelupea'u feel free to call me Lupe, I'm Polynesian and one thing I am forever greatful for is my family and the way I was taught to love and to respect everyone. I was never brought up with the "you have to earn respect" type of mindset instead I was taught to respect each and everyone no matter what. My parents had 13 children all together (I am #9 from oldest to youngest). Coming from a big family I can definitely say that I know what it's like when the entire house can be a complete mess and having to clean up even though you weren't the one that dirtied it. I wasn't taught to clean up only after myself but after each other. The skills I've learned from my family I was able to put to use in 2012 when I had got my first job Read more as a babysitter working under a family of 2 at first now 4 in Oakland, CA. The children were at the ages of 6 and an infant. Because their parents were constantly busy with work and school I had cared for them during the day from 8am to 5pm. Certain responsibilities I had were some housework, laundry duties, bathing the children, some light cooking in the kitchen, getting the children ready for certain events, and so on so forth. I was able to engage with the children and parents as if I was a part of their family which was one of the greatest experiences I've had. In 2014 the family relocated to a different area and from there we keep in touch on social media every now and then. Being away from my family and being able to help another family makes me feel at home. I'd be glad to assist and care for your children as their older sister or even as if they are one of my own siblings. Thank you for taking the time out to read this, I hope to hear from you!
