My name is Alex, I'm 23 years old and I've babysat since I was 15 and around 19 started doing more nanny style work. I've worked as a swim instructor for several years and as a camp counselor at a overnight outdoor activity and backpacking camp! As a swim teacher my favorite moments were always the moments scared kids felt comfortable and happy in the water. I'm very active but also very creative, currently I'm an artist in training (sculpture) but a maker at heart! I love doing projects and creating no matter the form. I always love to encourage creativity in children and see how they express themselves. I'm very empathetic and have learned to relate to children and create a caring environment after my many years in childcare.
