Hello, I am a 34 yr old woman, and I’ve been a professional nanny/babysitter for the past 8 yrs. Full time mostly I have been doing it the past 4 years, before that it was part time, in between other jobs. I have a background in education, a BA in English-liguistics (so I have taught reading comprehension and writing before to children ages 3 to 11, and I also have experience in caring for and in special methods instructing special needs children). I have worked for a variety of families the past 8 years, and they were all very pleased with my services. I've cared for children of all ages: newborns (2 weeks old and up), toddlers, daycare age, pre-elementary and elementary school. I've cared for twins before. I love working with children, I enjoy reading them stories and entertaining them. My strengths in my work with children are my Read more communication skills, and in general my gentleness and patience with little ones of all ages. I like to provide a safe environment where they can grow, play and explore while they are supervised, and feel safe and cared for at all times. I have my own car and can do pick up/drop offs. I can also do shopping for the client, and light housecleaning.
