While I do not have any experience as a paid nanny, I have experience both working with and raising children. I helped raise my nephews and niece who are now 6, 11, and 12, and I have worked at a boarding school as a house parent for children between the ages of 7 and 17. Before working at the boarding school, I also worked as a camp counselor at marine biology camp. At this camp I taught groups of school age kids about marine biology, while leading them through different activities, such as; snorkeling, kayaking, and hiking. For 6 years before that I had also been around the world doing humanitarian missions. I am a musician and singer, and I love bringing out my guitar and creating songs with kids.
