I started my childcare "career" at the age of 12 as a mother's helper. I helped with twin boys from the time they were born til age 2. I've been a part-time and full-time nanny for children of all ages. I love taking kids places (Chuck E. Cheese, Six Flags, etc), love reading and playing games, and am often told I'm a lot of fun to be around. I prefer to interact with kids (especially if they're younger) as opposed to plopping them in front of a TV. Children's safety is my number one concern. My second concern is that they have fun!

We live in San Francisco but had a family wedding in Pasadena. I was very nervous about making sure we had a reliable person before we travelled as I'd have no back up when we got there. Grace arrived promptly, and was friendly and organized. As a trained lifeguard I felt safe enough to let her take my kids swimming. She was very kind to stay late so I could catch up with my out-of-town family. The next day the girls told me about all the fun they had. If we were in Pasadena, I'd definitely use Grace again.
