My name is Shanti M. I have four years of babysitting experience. I am a student at the Santa Rosa Junior in college. I graduated high school two years early. I am CPR certified and a nationally licensed Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). I take the responsibility aspect of this job seriously. I sadly moving so I will be unable to care for the two boys I have watched over the last 4 months (27hours a week). I cared for a two year old girl once a week for four hours two years ago and another two year old girl a year ago. I babysit for other families on a irregular basis. I have watched children ranging from two to thirteen years old. I have watched children with severe allergies (epi pen and all) as well as children with ADHD. I have always gotten through to the children. Last week I Read more took care of a two year old that was screaming at the sight of me and by the time her mom picked her up she gave me a nickname, a goodbye kiss and was sad to see me go. Families are always pleased with how involved I am with the children. Monotonous activities? Never. Children are always challenging me to be creative. I am energetic, fun and love becoming friends with the the families. Most of my work has been the result of happy families and good recommendations; however, I am looking for a regular schedule. Whether they need a pal to awe over bubbles with, a storyteller, a goalie, a hand to hold or some advice on how to survive middle school, I am there for them.
