My name is Amber. I'm 26 years old and I have recently moved to Pleasanton, CA and have been a Bay Area resident ever since I can remember. I've been caring for other peoples children since I was 13, which is when I first worked at a daycare center as a teacher's aide. I also babysat for families outside of the daycare center at various times working with children as young as a couple weeks up to ten and eleven year old children. I have always loved caring for other peoples children. Normally I sit for younger children such as newborns and toddlers but I am more than comfortable caring for any age group as well as special needs children. My little brother was diagnosed as being autistic 12 years ago and I have been there every step of the way so I know what it's like for these children as well as their families. I have also provided respite care to a family with an Autistic 12 year old so I do have some experience as a special needs provider. I have worked for a variety of families over the past five years, most children being in the under 5 years category. I have great references and am available for a part or full time position as well as occasional date night sitting. If you would like to know anything else, please feel free to ask. Have a great day and good luck in your search!
