I'm 24 years old and just graduated from Cal Poly SLO in Communication. All my life I have always stayed very active as a competitive athlete up until transferring to Cal Poly two years ago. From when I was 10 years old up until 16, I competed nationally and internationally in elite baton twirling where I won two silver medals in 2006 and 2007. When I was 16, I stopped twirling completely, but gave private lessons to young girls who loved to twirl and perform at city events. At 16, I started golf where I was being coached every week, placing first at our league tournament my senior year. Every summer I helped put on golf tournaments for kids at our local golf course. From there I went on to play at Santa Barbara City College, where I played women' s golf. In 2014, we went undefeated and won the Read more state championships. I want to be able to teach kids that being active, time management skills, and discipline in whatever one does in life is important.
