Hi! I'm Tayla. I have four years of paid experience in child care, and I really love being around children of all ages. I am currently a full-time nanny for a 9-month-old baby boy which I enjoy so much, but the family will be gone on vacation so I am looking for a temporary position. I am open to working date-nights and/or full days, and I can work from December 4th until December 31. Please contact me if you need a nanny/babysitter during that time! My background in childcare: At my current job, I care for a 9-month-old baby. He is so much fun to be around! His favorite things to do include going for rides in his stroller, eating finger foods, and playing with his toys. I follow a daily schedule which creates structure for me and the baby. I feed him formula, finger foods, and baby food. I Read more bathe him daily. I take him on walks in his stroller. I get him down for naps twice a day, and play with him throughout the day. He has trouble sleeping so I have experience with sleeping techniques. I worked at my church's nursery and cared for newborns up to 1-year-old babies, which I very much enjoyed. I would make/feed them bottles, put them down for naps, change diapers, and play with them and keep them stimulated by using shapes, colors and different textured objects. I have experience nannying for a family with five kids! The ages of the children are 10 months old, 3 years old, 5 years old, 7 years old, and 9 years old. They are a fun family and love to do outdoor activities such as soccer, and going on their playground! Also, for the past few years, I have been babysitting for a family on the weekends and their daughter is 5 years old and she is adorable. I love spending time with her and she loves to draw and paint. I have experience with a 6-year-old boy, and his 4-year-old brother that has autism. I would give medications, cook specialized meals, Bathe both the boys, help care for them at hotels and amusement parks, etc. I was a nanny for an 8-year-old. I would pick him up from school make him healthy snacks and meals, help him with his homework and when he was done he could play. We would go on the trampoline and kick the ball around and he would show me his cool tricks too (he does gymnastics) and he would have occasional play dates that I would supervise. I have babysat for many families, but I have only listed my main babysitting/nanny jobs. Thank you for reading! Please contact me if you are in need of child care in December!
