Hello! My name is Taylor Bracells, and I’m interested in the position. I am a college student living in Red Bluff, CA. I am 19 years old and recently graduated from Red Bluff High School in June 2018. When I was attending high school, I was involved in the Performing Arts department (I’ve played the alto saxophone for seven years) and the FFA leadership team. I’m currently finishing my second semester at Shasta College, and plan to attend for at least another year while I finish getting my AA in English before transferring to a University, where I hope to also get a minor in communications. My mother had a stroke seven years ago, and I've been her caregiver ever since. I've also been the main parental figure to my younger, autistic brother. Through caring for them, I have gained a lot of experience working with cognitive and behavioral disabilities, Read more as well as basic care skills. I also have experience babysitting for a family friend (who has three daughters, two of which are under age three) and nannying for multiple families in the area. Before starting my college career, I worked at a daycare for over seven months, which gave me experience working with children ranging in age from six weeks to fourteen years old, and performing all kinds of daily activities and routines with them. I have had my liscense for over three years now, with no accidents or tickets on my record. I am CRP and first aid certified for infants and children, and can pass TB and drug testing.
