I grew up with many children in my family. I came from a family of twelve children. I was one of the older children, therefore, I had to take on many of the responsibilities as an older child. These responsibilities included diaper duty, bathing, feeding, etc. I have always loved children and believe that all are a blessing. I have babysat many, many children in my lifetime, from infants to older children. I have also worked with a range of children, from the inner city children to children that were raised to luxuries. One of the biggest things I have learned from babysitting is that children need to be heard, recognized, and understood. I love being there for children and be able to allow them to speak what is on their minds.
