Hello! My name is Hannah Seligman. I'm 20 years old and currently live in Cambridge. I have lived in Massachusetts for one year now, but lived in Germany working as an au pair caring for triplets, and California originally. As an au pair my duties included light housework (children's laundry, vacuuming, dishes, tidying up after the kids), taking the family dog on a walk, helping the kids get ready for school, cooking the kids lunch (I have peanut allergy experience), helping the kids with their homework, and of course watching and playing with them. I love children and working with them. I have worked as a babysitter for many years and taught drama classes in an after-school program for elementary aged children. Having both of my parents as teachers I know the importance of reading and education. Nothing makes me smile brighter than to see children learning and growing. I Read more have studied at community college for a few semesters and would like to eventually transfer to a four year university to complete my studies. I would be thrilled to get the chance to work and help your family. I want above all else, the best for the children and to help in any way possible. I have many creative hobbies that I enjoy and love sharing with others! I have been involved in acting, directing, and the theater arts in general since I was a child. I have written 2 screenplays for fun and hope to one day make my own film. Having taught drama classes to children between the ages of 6-10 I learned how much I loved inspiring kids to make their own plays and do their own performances. As a child, my sister, cousins, and I would make elaborate shows to perform for our parents, including song and dance. I have carried that creative spirit on with me throughout my entire life. I also enjoy crafts a lot. I am proficient in ceramics, and have had my artwork displayed and bought in a show! In my spare time I like making jewelry and collages. I find joy in almost anything that allows me to be creative. I work currently as a shift manager at a home decor store. I am looking to find a different job that I am more passionate about, such as babysitting! I hope that I can help you and your family and be a big sister to your children!
