I currently nanny PT for 2 children, ages 11 months and 5 years old. I have been caring for the children since the baby was 4 months old. I also take care of other children randomly whenever needed, ages 2 and 4. Great current references available. All of my work experiences since college pertains to some type of child care. I taught elementary school for the past 4 years for the Appoquinimink school district back home on the east coast before I moved out here. I taught Spanish to 1st through 5th grades. Prior to teaching I volunteered at multiple orphanages in Mexico and worked with infants and children of all ages. Before pursuing volunteer work in Mexico, I worked for the state of DE (Division of Family Services) as a child abuse/neglect investigator for 2 years. Right out of college, I worked at a domestic violence shelter and provided Read more support to the women and their children residing in the shelter. I have also babysat since I was 15 years of age.

We used April for a one-time job when we were in Delaware for a wedding. We were very nervous as it was the first time we had left our 4 month old with anyone. She was very understanding with our nervousness :) . April is a good communicator – quick at responding. She was on time. She sent us pictures of our baby throughout the night and gave us updates. He seemed happy. We would use her again if we were in the area.
