I have a lot of experience with children. Besides raising my five children,I have worked with children for over seven years.First, I worked as a nanny for over four years.I worked with newborns as well as two and four-years-old. I am currently working for LAUSD as a teacher Assistant at an elementary school with kindergartners and second graders. I am also working at an Office of Religious Education as director's assistant.At these jobs, I have the opportunity to work with children too.These jobs have given me the opportunity to continue working with different ages children.I love working with children,they are my passion.I really enjoy playing with them and doing fun activities together. In an effort to understand the needs of children, I have been taking Child development classes at Pierce college. I have taken twenty-one units in this subject. This classes have helped me to understand the needs of children Read more and have enabled me to serve them in a better way. I have clean driving record and reliable transportation. I have laegal status to work in this country. I am also CPR trained. I am bilingual Spanish/English. I am a very reliable person.In my four years working as ananny, I was absent only once. And in my three years working for lAUSD, I have been absent two days only. I am a really active person. I do not believe in sitting down and watching television. I like going for walks, going to the park, reading, singing, and doing all kinds of activities. I believe that my role as a nanny is to support families to raise their children in a safe loving environment where children are respected and valued as individuals. I also believe in nourishing the child's mind to encourage appropriate cognitive development. I am a very dependable person. I am energetic,fun. reliable, caring, punctual, and respectful.
