Hi! My name is Joanna, I am one of 9 kids in my family so I have been caring for kids my entire life, but I didn't start working till the age of 12 with my church and at 15 I got my first job with a family. I enjoy working with kids so much! I am passionate about tuning into the emotional and physical needs of children, doing my absolute best to foster secure attachment in each child I am blessed to work with, and I make sure to adapt to what each child needs individually and their way of learning. I try to limit technology as much as possible, and instead, try to teach each child the value of genuine connection and empathy. I really do my best to encourage them to try new things and find activities they find genuinely enjoyable and use those things to help teach them to grow in character so it is much more likely to stick with them since lessons are taught through what they enjoy. I have many years of experience with newborns through the age of 13.
