At a young age, my mother began working at a large church in Monterey, CA as a childcare worker. When I was young, I would go with her and assist. By age 11 I was considered a worker. At age 14, when old enough to obtain a work permit, I joined the payroll. Since then, I have worked at multiple churches, with varying ages and group sizes. I have organized and taught preschool classes, and bible studies for children ages 12 and under. I have been in charge of groups up to 25 children in size, and have quite a bit of experience with all ages, 0-12. I have traveled with families as a nanny, and have had numerous private babysitting jobs over the past few years. I have tutored in mathematics and english, as well as conducted minimal science labs, contracting through a charter school vendor. In addition I am working at a local dental office, two days a week, and am hoping to find a nanny position for the days that I'm not there. I hold current cardiopulmonary resuscitation and AED certifications. I have also recently obtained my dental radiology license. I hold a current drivers license, and have a clean record. Activities that keep both the mind, and body active are my favorite. I enjoy the reward of watching children progress. Feeling that I can make even the smallest impact on a child's life, makes me never regret working with them. I am very responsible, driven, and dependable. I enjoy education, creativity, being active, and healthy. I believe these are important factors in the development of children
