My name is Zoe and I am 20 years old. I absolutely love working with kids, and I feel as though it is something I am meant to do. My favorite things to do are go on walks by the river with my dog Henry, and try to perfect my chocolate chip cookie recipe. I love art, music, and traveling. As for my experience: in high school I opted to take a class where I assisted in a 1st grade classroom in the elementary school next door. Mainly I wiped boogers and helped with unforgiving milk cartons at lunch time, though the arts and crafts were a billion times more fun. When I went to college, Early Childhood Education was my obvious path, and I spent a semester tutoring kindergarteners who were having trouble learning to read and write. I was challenged with coming up with creative lesson plans that Read more would somehow hold the attention of 5 kindergarteners at the end of a long day of school, not an easy task! Additionally, I have clocked many baby sitting hours, mostly courtesy of a large extended family. I was also a full time nanny, where I was in charge of preparing meals for the child and also some light cleaning. I am pretty flexible on possible duties, I thoroughly enjoy cooking and cleaning, and would not mind running errands if needed. My schedule is very flexible. I would love to get to know you and your child, and do the best that I can in helping to shape a wonderful life for your family.
