I have always enjoyed looking after children. I graduated from College with a degree in Communication Arts and studied Education (Teaching Profession) in graduate school. For 9 years, I taught students from ages 3 (pre-kindergarten) to 12 (sixth grade) at a well known Catholic school in Thailand. During the past 6 years I have been teaching English as a second language to students at a large private school. My experience is primarily with children ages 3 to 12. Through my own experience, I have learned that children are most engaged and most-willing to follow directions when their teacher is entertaining, relaxed, and friendly. Whenever possible I try to help children feel relaxed and happy but it's equally important that mutual respect is shown. Children tend to be most happy when they can sense that their nanny is also happy and is enjoying her job. A few weeks ago I came Read more to America from Thailand. I thoroughly enjoy taking care of children and hope to work as a nanny here in America. I am living here legally and am eligible for employment. In addition to having much experience with children, I also have ample experience cooking any and all Thai foods. For me, it's no problem to take care of children and to do other basic household chores, such as cooking or doing laundry. Please contact me if you'd like to meet me or see my resume and a letter of recommendation from my most recent employer.
