Hi! My name is Jurusha I am 29 years old. I have 10+ years of experience working with children. I started out at the age of 15 teaching dance to young kids at my aunts dance studio in Monterey which solidified my passion for working children. I worked at Southgate Parks and Recreation District for 3years as a gymnastics and dance instructor while I was going to CSUS for Therapeutic Recreation. I moved to Georgia for a year to complete my internship at a camp for children with disabilities which was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. When I moved back to Sacramento I became an Americorps member and worked as a volunteer coordinator where I was responsible for training and mentoring high school aged volunteers. When my contract was up with Americorps I quickly transitioned into daycare. I worked for the city of Roseville for almost Read more 3 years as a daycare teacher where I was responsible for a classroom full of exciting and energetic children. I was able to share my passion of arts & crafts and dance with my students on a daily basis. I went on to work as an In-home tutor/ behavior technician for Children with autism spectrum disorders so I am fully trained in Applied Behavior Analysis. As well as certified in CPR and First Aid. I am seeking a nanny position that allows me to continue to teach dance on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings at 4pm. I believe that children should receive plenty of outside play time, arts & crafts, and structure. I am willing to do homework help if needed. I am excited about meeting you all.
