I am a young active 50 year old mom who simply loves to spend time with children. I have many young nieces and nephews which I love to spend time with. I love hanging out and enjoy being with kids :) Actually, I can't wait to be a grandma! Naturally, I have many years experience with kids in helping them with routines and a structured fun day. I'm very on hands and enjoy keeping busy. I believe in quality time with the kids, not using the TV or Video Games as the 'babysitter' I had provided part time care for 3 wonderful kids, a 1 yr old, 4 yr old, and 6 yr old in Picnic Point Edmonds area. They light up my every day! I still spend many Sunday's and Monday evenings with the kids when needed. I've also worked part time with another wonderful family for the past 10 months. Their 2-1/2 year old son was a pure joy to spend time with 3 days a week. We loved to play games, count, practice our colors and just hang outside for long walks and going to the park. Hugs and laughter all day long... At nap time I like to keep busy in helping around the house. From 12/2015 thru 6/2017 I provided care for a wonderful little girl. I spent Monday thru Thursday from 8am-5pm. She was 14 months when we started spending our days together. I had the pleasure to see her take her first steps and picking up her vocabulary and talking. We had a scheduled day. We would have breakfast together then read many books, do puzzles and just play. Then we would take our daily walks to the park and play on the playground. We would kick the ball around and run and laugh. We had field trips twice a week to the children's museum, the library for story time and arts and crafts, the trampoline park and water parks. It was such a joy watching her grow. I miss her already. My time with her ended at the end of June when we moved back to California. We currently reside in Citrus Heights area and plan to buy a house by the end of the summer in Lincoln Hills. I'm looking forward to my next adventure with that special child or children. I'm also on board with light chores such as tidying up after the kids, loading the dishwasher, and folding laundry
