I have three younger sisters and a baby brother, therefore I have spent many hours looking after them from the time they were a baby up to 15 years old. I love to cook healthy meals, do arts and crafts, play outside, go the park or beach, or take walks. I've taken a few kids to the movies and to go bowling. I love reading and think it is very important for children to read. I love reading to kids, or even helping the younger ones work their way through books. One little girl was a very intelligent 5-year-old and loved to read to me before bed, she'd occasionally stumble on words, but we got it no problem! I've let the girls give me a makeover, and we've also played imaginary games, and many board games. I have also babysat for family friends who had children from 2 through 10. I have experience with all age groups, and thoroughly enjoy being around children, babies, and pets. I took a Safe Sitters class to learn more about babysitting and was even CPR certified. I certainly don't mind a little housekeeping or running errands, anything to make the family's lives easier. My mom was a single mother and I saw how hard she worked and struggled, and my goal is to help out anyway I can and to make the family's lives easier. I babysat for a family with two girls, and they felt like family to me, and I really hope to find that connection with a family out here in the wonderful San Diego.
